My practice thus far has consisted of an exploration of my lineage and identity politics through multi-channel video and sound works. Working with mainly found material (footage and sound) I look at the way the body, the black body especially, can be used as a tool for visual and audio storytelling. I tend to focus on rhythm and pace, leaning towards found footage of dancers of all forms, forming patterns and connections with different African diaspora. Projecting large scale and having sound works in large spaces, I aim for my work to be immersive and envelop the viewer.
