I am passionate about Still-Life and Abstract painting. The viewer creates a synthesis between both.
With my Abstracts I work intuitively, building up layers. I like happy accidents. My colours evolve intuitively as I work on my abstract paintings. I like to use a limited colour palette for a series of paintings. I keep working on the painting until I feel it is resolved.
With Still-Life I am interested to capture the way light falls on the object. I like to arrange my objects into satisfactorily resolved and balanced compositions.
