Using a material based process my practice explores liminal and •
cultural spaces, with specific focus on Australia and Iran. My work often explores unresolved spaces, questioning belonging (personal, cultural, and familial) and memory (remembering and forgetting).
My use of materials is guided by their cultural symbology and location. They are employed to create narratives of displacement, dislocation and uncertainty.
