Ophelia Sabine Gaunt-Perroud
[email protected]
Ophelia Gaunt-Perroud is a multi-disciplinary digital artist.
Her work focuses on the perception of space, and is inspired by Psycho-Geographical theory.
Ophelia’s way of making is innately intimate, as it explores her home and past. By comparing her internal and external landscapes Ophelia illustrates how these two parallel topographies can differ.
Her practice is an ongoing commentary on the changeable nature of our psychological landscape. Ophelia explores how the value placed in one’s self affects the position taken in a space, and even the way in which the space is seen.
Her work investigates space as both a physical plane and a manifestation of cyber-reality.
