My practice is about exploring the human condition and nature, in particular man’s ability to act “inhuman” through acts of violence and cruelty. I explore these ideas through the use of historical and psychological references and subjects. I am strongly influenced
by movements such as german expressionism and surrealism,
and artists such as Otto Dix, and Francisco Goya. I Primarily work through the mediums of painting, drawing and sculpture. My current works are centered around the subject of the Greek civil war, which was a war of ideals fought by communist and government armies that turned even brother against brother.
