Laura’s materially focused and process driven practice creates atmospheric abstract paintings, prints and installations. It explores the sublime and brooding qualities she nds within landscapes, and seeks to transfer these sensory experiences of the elements into artworks. Investigating the threshold between the pictorial and spatial elements of the studio and of natural environments, the artworks combine nostalgic, sublime and unique memories through combinations of colour, texture, form and materiality.
