Te’ Investigating the impermanence of life my practice explores the Claire uncomfortable gestures and functions of the human body, its gural
representations of mortality and self-identity. Through the reimagined body my work uses clay and mixed materials to explore a grotesque bodily surface. Using the fragmented body this work examines the vulnerability of life and the distorted perception of the self through decay, replacing the self with the object.
