Teasing Between Two Points

My conceptual practice is often inspired by materiality and
the everyday. My recent focus has been on the themes of
‘support’ and ‘accessibility’. This body of work explores how the political dynamic between bodies of varying abilities manifests in
the physical experience of design, function and architecture. The work asks the viewer to question their assumptions around the
way their body interacts with objects and designed spaces. The ‘ramp’ behaves as a psychological metaphor about levels of access experienced spatially and the privileges that exist in a broader socio- political sense.
