“Phyllotaxis” aims to explore the apparent existence of the Fibonacci
sequence within natural phenomena. This sequence plays a vital role in the arrangement of leaves, branches,  owers or seeds in plants and the digital manipulation of the macro shots aim to mechanically replicate the natural forming patterns found in plant life. This supposed existence of a complicated mathematical structure within nature prompts the audience to consider what role numbers may play within the naturally occurring world, outside of human discovery and intervention.
