The bedroom provides safety and protection from the world when the depression kicks in but as time goes on this room encloses
and becomes a cage trapping you in. A desperate need to get out of the cage takes over but then you remember what you have to
go through in order to escape and it terrifies you. The thought of leaving this space and entering society consumes you with pain
and torment. The pressure of having to conform and function as a ‘normal’ person in the world while experiencing this deep depression cripples you even more.
