I’m in uenced by shapes and colour in the physical world around
us. The double helix shape is a dominant theme throughout my work. Exploring this form is the central driving factor of my current practice. My palette of materials includes aluminium, steel, and
wood in different for forms. I treat my surfaces with colour to create different effects. I explore the use of illumination in my work to create a sense of visual dynamics. The objects I produce utilise different combinations of texture, material, scale, and light. Through my practice I offer up an experience of various sculptural possibilities for the viewer.
