My most recent projects oscillate between photographic self- •

portraiture, video and installation practice. The artworks examine themes relating to the importance of female-lead narratives in art and on screen, re ecting the complexities of female voices that are often misrepresented.
With a strong focus on the female gaze, my interest is in subverting traditional patriarchal ideals, consciously framing the diversity and fragility of individual female experiences, by employing three main concepts: feeling, being, and seeing.
Using the body as a subject, and feeling through it as a way of communicating, I seek to evoke empathy by drawing attention to subtle movements, texture, light and shadow.
