My practice centres around gaining an intimate understanding of materials, processes and techniques. From metal, enamel, resin and textiles, I seek to push the limit of what is possible with each medium I encounter. My explorations and inspirations are often scientifically orientated; predicated on experimental ‘what if’ enquiry and risk taking. I am fascinated by the world around me, from the divine to the mundane. The point at which concept intersects with chosen material - revealing the unexpected, or a new understanding of selected subject matter - is what drives me to continue creating.
