My practice explores photography and the printed image as a
form. Through experimenting with the surface of the print my aim
is to evoke a visceral sensation, feeling or experience. My work is explored through both macro and landscape photography and the combination of pin pricking techniques. Fascinated in the idea of inspecting things up close and from a far, I show the unnoticed to emphasise details and the beauty of the moment. Utilising also light, detail and texture to create a new unique sculptural object which deals with the notions of touch, tactility and materiality.
