I consider myself a site-specific land artist and climate activist, exploring object value association and blurring the lines between beauty and the abject. My use of boundaries within the body and natural world is incorporated into wearable sculptures that question the wearers own identity through the use of readymades, human hair, flora, fauna and found materials. The tactile characteristics of my practice are paramount to my childhood foundation of collecting objects and my ingrained connection to touch. By merging my felt experiences and passion for natural wilderness, a powerful respect for mother nature can be observed throughout my practice.
